Here’s one idea

Elizabeth Haswell, associate professor of biology, and Eric Hamilton, a graduate fellow in biology, made a stop motion video to help publicize research about pollen they had just published in Science and then, helpfully, published a blog about how to do it.

Then Kater Murch, assistant professor of physics, made an interesting quantum mechanical animation. We’ve hoping this is a trend.

 

Here’s another idea

While our animations were made by professional animators (that is people who think in moving images)  I’ve always been convinced that in some circumstances a good illustrator could pull this off. And here is proof:
